A Sea of Stripes

You can blame M.A.C’s nautical themed collection for this feature. I was in the mall and thought “Oh yeah, I love nautical apparel and accessories!” Stripes and anchors are classic summer symbols. No matter how old you are, or what decade you live in, they always seem to work. Take me out to see in a striped dress like the one from AX Paris. I may be a land girl but the salty scent of the sea breeze and the cool waves crashing along the shores inspires me deeply…to go shopping.

OOTD: Pretend it’s not raining

Ever have one of those day where the weather foils your fashion plans? I got up excited to explore the world in my favorite skirt, and just as I was getting ready, I hear the little drumbeats of rain on my roof, which quickly become louder and harder. Since I’ve bought this skirt I haven’t worn it out. I bought it during winter and now that summer is here, it always seems to be raining when I have an outfit featuring it. I ended up staying indoors watching the rain in my poofy skirt.

OOTD: Little Brown Fox

I’ve been crazy about foxes lately. Lately being since the start of the year. I’m think of doing a post dedicated to foxy fashion. I’m not covered in foxes (thank goodness) but I am hoping to purchase cute accessories like the fox ring I bought on etsy. The May flowers have bloomed and summer is unmistakenly in the air. I’m looking forward to sweet summer heat, bare legs, and a belly full of summer treats.
